The character SunnyBean has been around for a few years. He first appeared in late 2016 through a series of small drawings. The drawings usually had an underlying theme – c’mon, get out there and enjoy life a little.
Sunny wasn’t around much until the start of 2022, when I wanted to post a picture a day on my Instagram page for my few but dedicated followers. I’d completed over 90 days in a row. Many of the earlier posts from 2022 focus on self-care and the importance of staying connected with loved ones. Since late February of 2022, the ongoing war in Ukraine has been the subject of many drawings.
